The mission of A Heart’s Cry is to give every woman, regardless of age, race, religion or ethnic background, the opportunity and skills to move forward making a life change. Bettering not only their life, but the lives of their children through biblical counsel, material needs and other necessary resources. We do this in a Christ-centered and loving environment.
A Heart’s Cry is ministry to reach pregnant (or with newborns), single moms to provide necessary material needs specific to maternity, pregnancy and the first 2-3 years of that child’s life. They provide counseling during the extended period of assistance to help move these single moms forward with job skills, parenting classes, housing, and material needs such as clothes, diapers, wipes, cribs, car seats, strollers, etc. In severe cases, they provide either home visits and/or transportation to and from the center, or other necessary appointments (doctor, DSS, housing, etc.). The ultimate goal is to counsel in such a way as to not only better their life as a single parent, but also to get them into a doctrinally sound church “family,” and for them to come to know Jesus for who He really is.
