CrossRoads’ efforts are focused on providing hope and healing to those affected by child maltreatment/trauma and/or adult sexual violence. They accomplish this by offering advocacy, support, and crisis intervention services to both children and their supportive caregivers and affected adults as well. They also offer therapy services, referrals for therapy, and child medical evaluations (at the request of law enforcement, DSS, and pediatricians). Additionally, CrossRoads provides a variety of educational presentations to ABSS students, church groups, civic groups, professional organizations, and to the general community. ALL of their services are provided free of charge to their clients.

CrossRoads works closely with all agencies that deal with any forms of child maltreatment and adult sexual violence. These include, but are not limited to: law enforcement agencies, ARMC, ABSS, DSS, Family Abuse Services, District Attorney’s Office, Department of Juvenile Justice, mental health providers, and child serving community agencies. However, they work for our clients, to help them find their path of healing and to encourage their involvement with other agencies and groups that can help them as well.
